The role:
To lead a team of five members of staff to achieve a high media profile for the campaign through the development and implementation of effective communications strategies.

The candidate:
Experience in a senior media relations role – ideally with a mix of agency and in-house experience
Experience managing across a breadth of media channels and the ability and desire to both lead at a strategic level and operate in a hands-on capacity simultaneously
Experience in team and management & development - ideally with some exposure to working in a charity environment

The role:
The main fundraiser in the organisation responsible for maximise income, primarily by direct marketing appeals but other sources too including trust fundraising.
To produce a budget and annual income forecasts as well as providing income reports and analysis to other staff and the Steering Committee
Beyond the fundraising, take a major role in the organisation’s campaign planning and strategy
The candidate:
Has a proven record of success in fundraising including experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
Knowledge and ability to raise income via trust fundraising ideally with experience of researching and identifying potential new sources of funding
Has an understanding of campaigning organisations and of being the sole fundraiser
