Communications & Fundraising Assistant

Location: Home-based Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary expectation: £24,799 to £26,317

Application deadline: Tue 30th June

This is a part-time role

Parents Against Child Exploitation (Pace) is the lead national charity that works alongside parents and carers of children who are, or who are at risk of being exploited by individuals from outside of the family. We provide guidance and training to professionals on how child sexual exploitation, modern slavery, human trafficking and the criminalisation of exploited children affects the whole family.

No two days at Pace are the same. We are a dedicated and passionate team of people making a significant impact on families experiencing child exploitation. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the breadth and variety of experience that working in a small charity brings.

As well as assisting with external communications, this role will be pivotal in supporting the development of a new individual giving programme at Pace. Excellent writing skills are essential for this post; the successful candidate will be adept at writing across different mediums from

thanking a fundraiser, writing an award application to composing a tweet.

To be successful in this role, you will have had experience in engaging different audiences, building relationships with key stakeholders and have excellent organisation skills.

The location of this role is flexible, so there is potential for this to be home-based.
