This is a full-time role
Peace Direct is an international NGO that supports local peacebuilding in conflict zones worldwide. We work with local organisations around the world and aim to support many more in the years to come.
We have seen significant growth in recent years and have big ambition to reach and support many more people living in areas of violent conflict around the world, and communications forms an important part of our ambitions.
We are looking for someone with experience of working across multiple communications channels to help raise the profile of Peace Direct and produce materials (digital and offline) to help support the organisational need. You will be able to capture interesting and compelling stories and ensure the voices of local people working to build peace in areas of conflict have their voices heard.
You will have the chance to take ownership of communications projects, and you will be encouraged to be creative and respond to new opportunities. We also support team members to travel where possible to visit our projects and partners.
This is a dynamic and varied role for someone who wants to use their communications experience, knowledge and passion, along with their excellent interpersonal skills, to help build a just world, free from violent conflict.
