Finance System Change Specialist

Location: Congress House, Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3LS

Salary expectation: £57,828

This is a full-time role
Temporary 3–6-month contract

Grade 8 including London weighting of £5,504 pro-rata per annum

Flexible hours depending on candidate’s availability, up to 35 hours per week

From 4 April the TUC will be piloting flexible working for three months, with most staff expected to work from the office for a minimum of 50% of working hours. Staff may be required to work additional time in the office according to work demands. If you have exceptional reasons not to be able to comply with this, we can consider requests to accommodate different working patterns.

The TUC is looking for a temporary Finance System Change Specialist to support preparations to change to a new cloud-based finance system.

What qualifications, experience, skills, and knowledge do you need?

  • Experience of changing or upgrading to cloud-based finance system.
  • Ability to navigate finance systems and identify issues and improvements.
  • Project and change management skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations such as FRS102 and the Charities SORP, and VAT partial exemption.
  • Knowledge of good practice in system accounting, contract tendering, and business intelligence.
