Media & Communications Executive – The Role:

AITC are looking for a creative individual who can produce high quality communications, PR and engagement content that promotes the work of the charity and builds a positive image of its activities and impact within the local community. This exciting role will involve being responsible for executing impactful campaigns and content that promote the work of the charity, identifying opportunities to raise awareness of the charity’s work and gain media coverage or exposure through press, radio, online and TV broadcast and act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency in the way the charity presents itself externally to the world in all forms and across all department activity.

Media & Communications Executive – Key Responsibilities:

You will write content for a variety of internal and external publications, including press and web articles, email newsletters, social media, match day programme, award submissions, annual reports and local community publications.  In addition, you’ll be proactive in identifying opportunities to raise awareness of the charity’s work and gain media coverage through press, radio, online and TV broadcast. Your work will be creative, the environment will be fast paced, and we will have high expectations of you.  But we will give you everything you need to succeed (except for drive, determination and motivation – which you will need to bring with you!).

You will work with both internal and external publications and work closely with department delivery teams to identity and create powerful stories to demonstrate the impact of the work of the charity.

Media & Communications Executive – You:

It is essential that the post holder has the relevant graduate or postgraduate degree which relates to the role. We will require the individual to have previous role of writing and creating content for a wide range of media including print and digital.
