Outreach Campaigner x 2
Location: Islington, Greater London
Salary expectation: £39,492 to £45,900
Application deadline: Mon 2nd November
This is a part-time role
Join us as an Outreach Campaigner and enjoy this opportunity to put all your volunteer management and campaign delivery skills to the test – empowering our active network of volunteers to deliver innovative, winning campaigns and delivering inspirational campaign and public outreach projects.
Greenpeace is an international non-profit global campaigning organisation. Our independence and global reach enable us to stand for positive change through action in order to defend nature and promote peace. We investigate and expose global environmental problems, confront those in positions of power and present alternative solutions.
You’ll help manage, develop and support Greenpeace’s Local Group Network and its 3,500+ volunteers across the UK, maximising campaign and public outreach potential. This will include maintaining a high level of communication with the network and its coordinators via digital media, email, phone and face-to-face, as well as delivering a range of training, inductions and events to ensure accurate, effective and imaginative campaigning.
It will be another feature of your role to participate in campaign project teams to ensure Greenpeace’s local volunteer tactics network provides effective and creative campaign impact and raises public awareness. You’ll also support the output of outreach projects, in order to drive Local Group growth and health and to raise awareness of our mission through activities like fundraising events and volunteer recruitment initiatives.
