Location: London

Salary expectation: £28,000 to £30,000

Application deadline: Mon 10th May

This is a full-time role

About the role

You’ll focus on our work in prevention and will be involved in the research, develop and dissemination of policy positions to support the BHF’s strategic aim to improve population-level health and reduce the risk of heart and circulatory diseases.

You’ll gain a solid understanding of topics relevant to our population-level health portfolio: obesity and diet, tobacco, air pollution and public health systems, and will be responsible for researching and drafting new policy positions, proactively identifying gaps and opportunities

The BHF Policy and Public Affairs team exists to build support amongst key decision makers so that we can beat heart disease for good. We develop the BHF’s position and engage and influence stakeholders to help ensure the UK remains a global leader in heart and circulatory research.

By joining our dedicated teams, you will be part of helping to create the next big breakthrough, from heart transplants and pacemakers, to stents and clot busting drugs. We will beat the heartbreak these conditions cause.

Here at the BHF we understand that you might need a little help balancing your work and home life.  Many of our people work flexibly in many different ways. Please feel free to talk to us about the flexibility you may need; we’re happy to explore what’s possible for you and the role.
