Fellowship Areas and Engagement Manager (Central)

The role:

To focus on leading and supporting the design, delivery and review of engagement and collaboration for Fellows, and relevant organisations in the Midlands and East of England both within RSA programmes and projects and across local areas.

To support thriving local communities of Fellows who are bringing about social change, with connections, engagement and communications.

To act as the main point of contact for the community of approximately 5,000 Fellows in the East of England and the Midlands. Typical activity includes advising how to engage with the organisation, supporting Fellows who wish to lead their own RSA-related activity and managing networks.  Specially to identify and support opportunities for Fellows, and other local stakeholders and organisations to engage with our strategic programmes of work.


The candidate:

Proven experience of initiating, facilitating and delivering a range of events and activities to build social change

Strong understanding of regional institutions, trends, and potential drivers of change

Demonstrable knowledge and interest in engaging audiences for impact. This might include experience of capacity building, shared leadership, co-design, mobilising and/or organising (or you should be able to demonstrate interest and a passion to learnExperience of involving driven individuals to take action and mobilising others to play a role.
