Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

Job Summary
The Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand is a pivotal role, responsible for driving a coherent charity-wide communications approach based on the needs of our audiences. You’ll build and leverage the power of our brand to increase awareness, prompt action, drive income and create deeper and more meaningful connections so that more people affected by bowel cancer can find the support they need, and together we can achieve our vision of a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer, sooner.
This role will drive the foundations for organisational growth: a bold and confident brand voice, identity and messaging that cuts through and ensures bowel cancer gets the attention and support it deserves; a joined-up communications planning approach that gives us collective focus and ensures that everything we do and say is based on audience insight and supports our strategic goals; and the development of compelling campaigns, stories and content that bring our community together to create an unstoppable force for change.
