This role is an exciting opportunity to play a key role providing expert analysis and conducting research on the issues facing older people in financial hardship and advocating for policy change in this area. Part of the Policy and Influencing directorate, you will contribute to strategic thinking, lead research and policy development projects using a range of methods and work across the directorate to build relationships and secure change.

You should have experience of driving forward a policy theme, including identifying policy problems, developing credible and evidence based solutions and working towards securing change. You should have excellent communication and project management skills. Strong research and analysis skills are essential. We are looking for experience of working independently as well as collaborating effectively across a high performing influencing function. Most importantly, a passion to change things for older people experiencing financial hardship, and the confidence to hear and incorporate their perspectives and insights into your work mean that this role could be for you.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days or a 9 day fortnight.
