We have a brilliant opportunity for a dynamic and creative social media and content specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in raising our profile, building customer engagement and driving awareness of our charitable purpose.

FARA has 40 much loved charity shops based in London that fund our programmes, which have been helping disadvantaged children, young people and their families in Romania for the past 30 years. We are growing our marketing team and have ambitious plans to elevate our communications with supporters and key stakeholders, building on our retail footprint to drive greater impact and diversify revenue generation. This role is critical to our success.

The Role:

We are looking for a Social Media and Content Manager with the expertise and experience to develop our social media strategy and manage our output. They will be working closely with stakeholders and colleagues in the UK and Romania to ensure we maximise the potential of social media. They will be FARA’s social media expert and develop content that meets the need of our audiences. The role will also include but not be limited to:

· Defining growth and engagement targets for FARA’s social media output that align with organizational commercial and awareness goals

· Developing the social media calendar and content plans with an audience focused approach

· Proactively managing FARA’s social media channels on a day-to-day basis

· Liaising with all areas of the organisation to maximise social reach, engagement, acquisition and retention

· Supporting our shops in the growth and delivery of local social media output

· Supporting on the development of a supporter communications programme, with a focus on building loyalty and engagement among our retail audience cohort

· Working with the marcomms team and other stakeholders, oversee the update of website content in line with the marketing calendar and on an ad hoc basis

· Working with the Marketing Manager – Digital and Data to develop social and website analytics and engagement metrics, to ensure ongoing optimization / rationalization
