Based in Kent, on site work area of London and the South East, National/International if 80%+ remote
With over 30 years of experience I understand how organisations function and why very often they don’t perform to their full potential. I support relationship building or re-building, /trouble shooting / problem solving, governance, team development, corporate partnerships and income generation.
There are three strands to my career, enterprise sales and sales management, entrepreneurial and charitable and the thread that runs through all of these is my desire to see people succeed. This includes my team members, customers, partners and end users which all ensures I deliver to the board what they require.
Having co-founded my own charity The Unconnected Foundation, I understand what is required by the charity commission, how to recruit and motivate staff, both employed and volunteered. I know what companies are looking for from any charitable partnerships, the growing importance of ESG & CSR and how to fund raise effectively.
I have always enjoyed representing the organisations I’ve been a part of publicly, last year I spoke at the UN in Geneva on the SDG’s and also attended a number APPG’s at the Houses of Parliament looking to influence government policy. I met with government ministers in Malawi, building collaboration plans for our flagship projects in their country.
I have always engendered a collaborative working environment where everybody’s opinion is valued and considered, I place huge value in the ethos of the team.
In summary, I bring charitable, enterprise and entrepreneurial experience, look to instigate a collaborative environment and champion everyone to succeed. I’m a confident public speaker and a very strong advocate for social change
