Family Action is a national charity that supports people through change, challenge and crisis across England and Wales. On 1st January 2025, Relate, the largest provider of relationship support, joined the organisation helping us reach even more people and support the creation of secure foundations for children and young people, and safe, supportive relationships for all.

Diabetes UK’s award-winning Media Team plays a vital role in helping make life better for people living with diabetes, or those at risk of developing the condition. We secure high-profile coverage in national, regional, consumer and trade press that talks frankly about the diabetes crisis and the seriousness of diabetes. We tell the story of Diabetes UK’s pioneering research, campaign for improvements in diabetes care, and share the stories of those with lived experience of all types of diabetes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a communications professional to help make sure that every seriously ill child and their family gets high quality children’s palliative and end of life care, when and where they need it. You will play a key role as, together, we provide direct support to children and families, unite services and professionals, campaign to change the system and raise funds to sustain our vital work.
The Right Ethos was set up after our founder, Jonathan Dearth, had worked in the campaigning sector for 13 years, for campaigning organisations including Amnesty International, Shelter, Liberty and the World Development Movement. It was set up as a response to multi-sector recruitment consultancies moving in on the charity sector, and in particular not recognising that people who work for campaigning organisations are motivated by justice and long term change.
