This role requires proven experience of line managing colleagues and devising and executing strategic national media and digital comms plans.

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity provides specialist nurses and life-changing support for seriously ill children. Across the UK, over 200 Roald Dahl Nurses care for more than 40,000 children living with complex, lifelong conditions. For many families, the road to diagnosis is complex and uncertain, juggling hospital visits, managing medications, and navigating treatments and tests. They are often under the care of multiple specialists, across different hospitals.

The Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS) is seeking a Communications and Public Affairs Officer to lead strategic communications, digital content, and advocacy initiatives across its flagship programmes, including The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition and the Commonwealth Clean Oceans Plastics Campaign. The role involves managing the RCS website, social media channels, newsletters, and multimedia content, as well as supporting high-profile events and public affairs activities with Commonwealth stakeholders, Parliamentarians, and youth networks.
