Our Communications & Engagement Manager is a new senior role in our organisation, responsible for raising awareness of and driving engagement with the Registry. You will plan and deliver our communications strategy, co-ordinating our communications group to achieve this. You will ensure that we have joined-up, proactive and comprehensive communications that really engage our key audiences in IBD. You will keep a strategic outlook for opportunities where we can showcase our work, demonstrate our achievements and engage with our audiences. . At the heart of our work will be your skill in creating the key content that will tell the compelling stories that drive our audiences engagement with us.
The Diocese of Salford has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Communications Officer to join our busy, dynamic team. They will assist the Communications Manager with a variety of external and internal communications involving both the work of the diocese and its parishes. The suitable candidate will understand and be sympathetic to the work of the Catholic Church, be passionate about supporting the work of the Diocese including promoting education and strengthening social action in line with the social teaching of the Church.

The Media Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the press office, ensuring opportunities to promote and engage with a range of media are delivered. This role will also take on discrete projects of media work, some at short notice, as specific opportunities arise to further promote the work of the charity. There will be significant work liaising with the wider organisation to ensure coordinated responses at national and local level in line with the charity’s strategic goals.
